Jon Busch
Jon Busch first came to Aspen in 1964 as a student at the Aspen Music School. A permanent resident since 1969, Jon is a pioneer member of the local gay community and was instrumental in passing Aspen’s Gay Rights Ordinance in 1978 (?). He has been a local broadcaster (KSPN 1970-74) and a columnist (Aspen Today/Aspen Times/Aspen Daily News) for the past 35 years.
Michael DeVous
Michael DeVous Jr. has worked in the entertainment industry for the past 25 years in special event production, marketing, and film including non profit organizations such as Arts Fighting Cancer. His life experiences have taken him from the Southern Caribbean to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, and now to his new home in Aspen, Colorado. Michael brings years of experience from well-known international film festivals, including AFI FEST in Los Angeles, the international festival of the American Film Institute, AFI DALLAS International Film Festival, the Lone Star Film Festival and Deep Ellum Film Festival. “I am very proud to be a part of the RFGLCF board. I hope that my experience and passion for our community as well as supporting non profits, will help raise Aspen Gay Ski Week, along with our signature outreach programs to a whole new level of recognition and appreciation throughout the valley.“
John Galante
John Galante joined the Board of Directors of the RFGLCF in July 2010. John moved from New York to be with his Aspen partner in July of 2008. John is currently the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for JG Black Book of Travel, a New York based luxury travel representation firm. Prior to that, John has had a distinguished 20 year career in luxury marketing, publishing and advertising. John is originally from New Jersey, but has lived in major markets, such as Miami, San Francisco and New York City.
Karen Kurt
Karen Kurt is a health care provider who's a member of the Gay Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA). Her interest is in education, particularly concerning "endocrine disruptors" which are the drugs, chemicals and certain environmental exposures that influence gender expession in the fetal brain.
Kevin Siegrist
Kevin Siegrist is a native of Farmington Hills Michigan and returned back to Aspen last year after spending ten years in Denver. Kevin graduated with honors from University of Denver with a major in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. His successes after graduation include being an Account Executive for the Scarritt group, which was a third party meeting planning company based out of Tucson, the youngest and most successful Director of Catering for the Kimpton Group working at Hotel Monaco in Denver and prior to moving back was the Director of Operations for the Belmar Event Center in Lakewood. Kevin has a passion for food and wine as well as a think out of the box approach for planning meetings and killer events. Currently Kevin is the Senior Catering and Conference Services Manager at the Hotel Jerome. Kevin lives in Carbondale with his wonderful boyfriend Matt and Shih Tzu puppy Stella.
